Vick and coach Jim Mora Jr.'s struggling Atlanta Falcons try to regain their footing in the NFC playoff race when they take on the Saints on Sunday at the Georgia Dome. The quarterback has struggled during Atlanta's three straight losses, completing less than 50 percent of his throws (44 of 93) with four interceptions and only three touchdowns. With Vick under center, Atlanta (5-5) has been held under 20 points the last three weeks, leading to the controversy with his coach's father. This week, the elder Mora, who coached the Saints (6-4) from 1986-96, agreed with the host of a radio show that Vick was a "coach killer."

| | Black icing for cakes | | During this years Superbowl, I went to the bakery to ask them to make me a cake or take one they have and frost it in black and gold for the New Orleans Saints, I thought this would be nice to take to the Superbowl party we was going to, I was told that they could ice it in black and gold but we could not eat it afterwards. That the icing made in the black color would be so bitter we could not eat it, even if they iced it in gold and trimmed it in black. Does anyone know why you can not make black icing. I see hanging in our local store a tube of black icing, is that the same as what they would use at the bakery. If any one know why black is this way please let me know or if they know how to make it so as you can eat it please let me know. | |

| | Patriots Vs New Orleans | | There was two things I learned from last nights football game against the Patriots and New Orleans Saints. The first thing is that the New Orleans Saints are for real. They put up 38 points on what is still considered to be an elite team and let up only 17 points showing their strength defensively especially having a banged up secondary. Brees impressed the audience with a brilliant performance that is one of the best performances on a national audience in a high profile game. The second thing I learned is that the Patriots dynasty may have finally come to an end. There has been no other dominant team in this decade than the New England Patriots. 3 Superbowl wins in four years winning it all in 2001, 2003, and 2004 as well as a Superbowl appearance in 2007. During the decade it included an undefeated season in 2007 and have racked up 6 division titles and 4 conference titles. They complete this strong showing with good-great offense and for the most part a solid defense that always seemed to make the big play. | | 2nd week still not going to see the Eagles Play | | Well it's the 2nd week of the NFL season.
Tomorrow at 1 the Eagles play the New Orleans Saints.
Last week I went to the Renaissance Faire. Had a great time, but had to rely on text updates to the game. When I got home I watched highlights on the sports shows after the games, and checked out the internet to see what happened.
This week, I agreed to work on Sunday, I need the money or I would have deferred and stayed at home for the games. At least this week I am going to be able to listen to the game on the radio.

| | Super Bowl 44 | | Things seem to be turning blue in Indianapolis, Indiana today and it is not due to the cold weather that has seemed to be way to long in the city, it is due to the Blue Monday send-off for the Super Bowl Bound Indianapolis Colts. Blue Week begins today for all of the fans of the team as the local canal has turned blue and there seems to be blue and white decorations and Colts gear everywhere in the area.Fans arrived early at the Arts Garden in downtown Indianapolis to begin the celebration and rally to send the Indianapolis players off to Miami in style. Being that the fans were able to do the same thing three years ago, the party seems to be bigger and better this year. Thousands of fans are at the rally listening to the Mayor talk about the team and the big game on Sunday. There is plenty of music and cheers in the rally too as well as alumni players signing autographs for the fans. Throughout Indianapolis, pwople are talking about the team and the chance of once again being the winning Super Bowl team. | | Could the Detroit Lions be the worst team of all time? | | With only the New Orleans Saints and Green Bay Packers left to play this season, if they fail to win a game could this Lions team be the worst of all time? This team has been a total disappointment to their fans, and have gotten so bad that they may even lose they're yearly Thanksgiving Day game. Personally, I don't know any Lions fans, and I am sure there are alot of them that wouldn't want too admit it right now, but for those of them out there it sure has been a rough season. The worst team of all time is probably the expansion Tampa Bay Bucs, who also went winless, and will likely remain the worst even if the Lions lose out, but this team should be nowhere near 0-14! Looking at this team in the pre-season you would have thought they at least could have made things interesting this year in a division that is one of the worst in football. Instead, they have become the joke of the league!Granted, QB Jon Kitna got hurt early on, but even that should not have made them as pathetic as they have turned out.
