| Why did Packers Draft 2 QB's this weekend? | | The Green Bay Packers drafted two QB's in this years draft. Brian Brohm who is a highly graded QB was brought in to back up Aaron Rodgers. Matt Flynn was also drafted.There had been talk of the Packers getting Culpepper and I guess that won't be happening.It may takek all 3 QB's on the roster to replace Brett Favre. | |

| | NFL legend is really retiring!! Say it ain't so!! | | I am a Chicago Bears fan. The Green Bay Packers are our "enemies". They have had Brett Favre for the past 16 years. He is the Green Bay Packers, as far as I am concerned. Whenever I watched him play against the Bears, I would yell at my team to "kill him", but don't hurt him. Silly, huh? He was one of those players on the opposition that I "hated" so much, because he was way too good and would always do something unbelievable. He was one of those players I wished was on my team.
He was exciting to watch when he played the game. He had such fun playing the game. He has set many records from playing the game. He is truly irreplacable.
I am very upset he is retiring from the game. He says he is tired, mentally. He feels like he underaccomplished because he didn't win the Superbowl this year. That was his goal. He threw an interception in overtime that allowed the Giants to score the winning field goal and go on to win the Superbowl. He also has the record for most interceptions and most completions by a QB in the NFL.
I say, put it behind you Mr. Favre and come back at least one more year. Football is much more fun when I get to watch you play the game.

But where does he fall in terms of celebrity outside of the world of football?For example: Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretzky, Tiger Woods, etc. all transcended the games they played. They were known as icons, not only sports stars....for whatever reason, I do not view Farve in the same light. | I Can't Believe It Finally Happened..Number 4 is No More | | I woke up this morning, turned on the news and felt like I got punched in the stomach. My beloved Brett Favre has retired. Almost everybody here in Wisconsin was hoping he would stay for one more season and one more Super Bowl run. I'm so completely bummed out. I can't imagine watching games without watching his unbelievable arm deliver that ball to Driver, Lee, Grant and Franks. Football Sundays will never be the same for me. Now it's time to pass the legacy to Rodgers. How do you think the team will do without him? | |

Last night was an upset game every body thought for sure Greenbay was going to blow them away but the Giants pushed on. Now i am a Giants fan but i can say i dont think they would have one if Bret Farve did not throw that inception in OT. This was by far the best game i have ever watched on TV.
