Talk about NFL highlights and disasters. | Tiki Barber, not you to! | | I heard the other day Tiki Barber, former NY giants running back, has turned into a jerk! He is leaving his wife of 11 years and who is also 8 months pregnant! Tiki is leaving his wife for a woman who is like 21 and who had an affair with! First it was Tiger Woods. Then Jesse James. Now Tiki Barber! I think fame, arrogance, not loving their wives and wanting the cake and to eat it too has alot to do with it! I can't wait to hear which celebrity is caught cheating!
| | | Last nights game against the Eagles 12/9 | | I don't know, we got the win, barely, but boy these Giants are not looking too well. We do have a bunch of injured starters, but come on!! They don't look like they are playing up to par. I really don't think I like Coughlin!!! | |
| | Disgusted | | as most of my friends here are aware.. a bit over a year ago i went through the decision making process of having another child. after docs and physicals and finally getting the green light of GO FOR IT! the maggot and i started in on another baby. after thinking wed hit the mark, and i was ecstatic about the thought of being a mother again.. the maggot informs me that being married is "too much responsibility.. too much work" and threw his wedding ring at me and very bluntly told me to "go f*** yerself" really needless to say, i went.. completely insane.im reading this story tonight ...http://backporch.fanhouse.com/2010/04/07/tiki-barber-leaves-pregnant-wife-for-former-nbc-intern-traci-joh/?icid=main|htmlws-main-n|dl5|link3|http%3A%2F%2Fbackporch.fanhouse.com%2F2010%2F04%2F07%2Ftiki-barber-leaves-pregnant-wife-for-former-nbc-intern-traci-joh%2F... and that memory came rushing back to me. i dont have to imagine what this woman is going through right now. i lived it. with the blessed exception that i, thankfully.. was not pregnant afterall. my heart breaks for her, and her unborn babies.so i ask here, of the men who decide the grass is greener over the septic..... | |
| | Izzy and George LEAVING Grey's Anatomy!! | | http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29124309/[i]"There have been plenty of rumors swirling around cast departures on "Grey's Anatomy," but now a co-star is reporting that two actors are indeed leaving the show.James Pickens, Jr., who plays chief of surgery Dr. Richard Webber at fictional Seattle Grace Hospital, told Us Weekly that Katherine Heigl and T.R. Knight are on their way out.Us also quoted a set source as saying "(Knight) complains to Katherine all the time. The energy on set will be much better when he's gone." However, the magazine went on to quote a source saying that the show's writers want to create a "believable exit" for Knight's character, one that would make it possible for him to return to the show at a later date.Heigl plays blonde bombshell and troubled doctor Izzie Stevens, who accidentally killed her fiance, Denny Duquette, while trying to help him get a heart transplant. Her character has been playing controversial romantic scenes with the long-dead Duquette, and a recent episode indicated that the scenes may be the result of a mental problem caused by a health issue.Knight plays George O'Malley, a doctor who had to re-take his intern exam and... | |
| | | Close loss to the Eagles ends the season. | | It was a close game, and the ending was tough to watch for any Giants fan. Eli Manning was once again inconsistent. He had a few nice passes but he also had some stupid ones. I don't know....I guess the guys just really gets on my nerves. Anyways, who actually thinks that today was the last we will ever see of Tiki Barber? I sure hope not. Now with both New York teams losing, the only team I have left to root for is the Seahawks. | |
| | Who do you see being the next superbowl champions | | Well as you know this year the Nfl has been pretty crazy. With most teams barely breaking 500 on the season and it has to make you think who is going to pull it off this year. Keeping in mind that the Colts where the odds on favortie considering they are the best teams number whise but are in a terrible slump. Maybe strike another for the patriots? Or a great ending for the great Tiki Barber | |
| | Take a seat! | | Just when you think you've seen it all, the NFL will show you something new. I mean, the New York Giants blowing a 21-point lead in the fourth quarter to the Titans? Things are starting to fall apart for that franchise, but I'll elaborate on that later. In this week's Six Points, I'll take a look at some victims and survivors during a Week 12 slate that gave us a few upsets, some shutouts and outstanding and terrible performances from players who figure to play key roles for Super Bowl contenders. THE GOOD Ravens offense
Even before coach Brian Billick took over the offensive play-calling, the question surrounding the Baltimore Ravens was their running game (114 yards in a victory over the Steelers). Would this unit provide enough production to complement a great defense? Well, the Ravens are giving the ball to Jamal Lewis and it's changed the complexion of that offense. As I've said before, by establishing the run, they've taken pressure off of Steve McNair. So now you wonder: If it's as simple as just giving Jamal Lewis and the other backs more carries, why couldn't former coordinator Jim Fassell implement that strategy? Well, we're starting to see...
| | NY Giants at Tennessee | | Game Info: 4:15 pm EST Sun Nov 26, 2006TV: FOX
Buy Tickets New York Giants coach Tom Coughlin chewed out his team after its latest loss. Tiki Barber fired back -- again. The Giants will try to put aside their latest controversy Sunday when they attempt to regroup and avoid a third straight loss as they visit the Tennessee Titans. New York (6-4) must win this game to move back into a tie atop the NFC East with Dallas, which beat Tampa Bay 38-10 on Thanksgiving Day. The Giants had fallen into a first-place tie after a lackluster 26-10 loss Monday at Jacksonville. Coughlin's screaming voice could be heard through the closed doors in the locker room after the game.
"Tom had every right to be upset with us, to be mad at us," quarterback Eli Manning said after the game. "We're not playing well. ... Everyone was angry." Barber said Wednesday the coaches abandoned the running game after he was limited to season lows of 10 carries and 27 yards rushing. It marked his fewest yards since Nov. 30, 2003, when he was held to 20 against Buffalo. He spent most of the second half blocking as Manning threw 27 of his 41 passes. "We got away...
