| Philadelphia Eagles Fandom? Or Fan-dumb?? | | OK - I'm a far cry from a sports fanatic. I rarely watch any kind of sports and have little tolerance for some of the fanaticism that takes place for any sporting event (soccer, football, baseball, whatever). I can appreciate when the Eagles win, and am happy if they pull off a championship. I even know how the game is played and what different calls mean, but I cannot and will not be found with Eagles paraphernalia anywhere around me. I mean, I didn't even like wearing a high school jacket, for pete's sake - even[b]WITH[/b] a sports letter (yes, really) and other award insignia. I can't explain it - it's just not me.But, these two.....well.....all I can say is they're keeping it in the family. And, they take it a step beyond simple memorabilia - maybe more than a step beyond. He had scouted all the colleges and even the Canadian and European Leagues, but he couldn't find a ringer who could ensure a Super Bowl victory. The defense of Dallas didn't look to sharp last week and they will face a very talented Brian Westbrook.
