| | The New Super Bowl Champs, The New York Giants | | Well, well, well.The Giants won! I was hoping that they would but I wasn't sure. I had said that the Pats weren't going all the way but I didn't think that it would take the Super Bowl!It was classic Giant football. The defense came out and played like what L.T. used to say " like a pack of wild dogs". They didn't let Brady have any rhythum. And the offense kept the ball for a very long time and then scored. It was like Tom was channeling Parcells.I am so happy that they won and how they won was great. | |

| New York Giants win the Superbowl!!! | | The Giants did it. After an awful start to thier season, the NY Giants just beat the New England Patriots ruining their chances for a perfect season. I am really glad that they won. Poor Eli took major heat at the beginning of this season from the media and the fans. He deserved this as did the rest of the team. They fought thier way to the top and deserve to end up with the trophy. Gotta love those Manning boys...Peyton last year, Eli this year...mom and must be so proud, especially dad, since he never did get a superbowl ring. Congrats to the Giants!!!!! | |
| | New York Giants Won the Super Bowl!! 17-14 Game!! | | The game started off at a slow start Giants 3 to 7. During the 3rd Quarter the New England Patriots started off with the lead until the 4th Quarter 14 England and Giants 10. At the last minute Giants made the upset making a touchdown making the game 17 to 10. The Patriots had had three time outs left - during that last minute of the 4th quarter they used them all up. They were not successful and all their passes were incomplete including a one heavy sack on Brady. The Patriots had a high record of 19-0 undefeated and the Giants conquered and made the impossible possible. They were like a young King David that took down Goliath. What a miracle! All that time I thought the Patriots were going to win it all the way, but then again, anything can happen in the NFL. | |

| | Plaxico Gets Jail Time | | Well, the news is out football fans. Plaxico Burress, the former New York Giants wide-receiver, took a plea bargain. He agreed to two years imprisonment followed by two years probabtion. In the future, I guess he won't carry an unlicensed, concealed weapon now, will he? Sorry, I know it sounds a little harsh, but he deserved some sort of punishment. Some will argue that this is a stiff penalty, but I think it sounds just right. What do you think? Do you agree with the sentencing?
