| Marvin Harrison involved in shooting | | I just heard on the news that it has been reported the Indianapolis Colt Marvin Harrison has reportly been involved in a fight and a shooting incident outside of a bar that he owns in Philadelphia. I sure hope that it isn't true as I like him and the Colts don't need that kind of publicity. It seems as though all we ever hear about the Pacers is trouble and I hope we aren't going to see that out of the Colts. Coach Dungy is a very patient person and very understanding but I don't think that he will stand for any behavior like this. | |

| Colts vs. Patriots | | Well, the showdown that has been talked about for over a week now if finally over and the Patriots won the game by 4 points.however, the Colts were missing a key player- Marvin Harrison. They played a good game until the last 9 minutes and then they blew it. They were ahead by 10.I will say that their defense played better than I have seen in a long while and they should have won the game. Bad passes were an issue with Manning and I think that sort of controls their game. I know that Coach Dungy seemed really upset.Tom Brady got sacked three times and the Patriots got one sack on Manning. I was surprised to see Mathis play like he did.there was a fabulous run by Addai, which I think was 102 yards for a touchdown! He seems to be the best runner they have now!!Well, I am sure that it isn't the last time we will see these two teams play against each other this season. | |
| | Opening Season Game | | Well, the Super Bowl Champs made a great season debut last night with a 41-10 win over the New Orleans Saints. Peyton threw some great passes and Joseph Addai and Bob Sanders were right were they needed to be in the game. Marvin Harrison scored two touchdowns.It looked like a close game the first half and was tied at half time, but the Colts came out fighting the second half and New Orleans didn't score any in that half. | Fantasy Football | | It's that time of year again, unless your like I am, then it's always that time of year. It's time ot start grooming your scouting reports and making your cheat sheets for fantast football. I'd like to discuss a few subjects of interest to me over the next couple of weeks so let's begin. If I had to make a list of the Quarterbacks that can impact a fantasy team I'd have to start it with Peyton Manning. Year in year out he is Mr. Consistency. Looking at his numbers for over a decade makes him about the surest bet to be in the top 3 at his position. With a killer duo of wide recievers in Reggie Wayne and Marvin Harrison he's pretty much guaranteed to throw for close to 30 touchdowns.I've debated some on number 2 but decided to go with Tom Brady, if for no other reason then the addition of Randy moss. Brady always find a way towards the top of the fantasty hill and having a reciever capable of catching 15 touchdowns in a season only helps his cause. Add on to that the fact that the Pats are solid on both sides of the ball and you can bet that Brady and Moss will get their fair share of opportunintes.Most people would select Carson Palmer as number three. The Bears Defense has been good this whole season.....despite minor losses along the way.....but their D has brought them all the way down to the wire.....Offensively they have 5 recievers and a pair of runningbacks that are out of this world. Don't forget about that physical O-Line........That's why Rex Grossman is who he is.....Now for the Colts......The beginning of the season they stumbled along but they stood their ground eventually..... Their Defence was lowly ranked though Even as they had one of the highest scoring Offenses in the league. Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Richard Adai, And The Sgt.
