Talk about NFL highlights and disasters.
Larry Johnson and his slurs
I love a guy who goes out there and speaks his mind. Guys like Charles Barkley, Joey Porter, Bobby Knight, Shaq, and so many others go out there and run there mouth and tell you exactly what they are feeling. However.......sometimes people take it to far. Larry Johnson the RB for the Chiefs took it too far. This guy has a lot to say for someone who can't back it up. They guy has only rushed for 1000 yards twice in his career and has only played all 16 games twice both being his 1000 yard seasons. Now first off he isn't being productive this year so I can't blame why the Cheifs aren't giving him the ball. When you have a running back who is only rushing for 2.7 yards per carry he doesn't deserve the ball. Now how bad is this? Emmitt Smith in his final NFL season and at the ripe old football age of 35 was rushing for 3.5 yards a carry. So Here is my shout out to Larry, produce some yards when you get your touches and they will give you the ball. If you aren't playing well your don't deserve it. You should be riding the bench and should be fined for your incredibly terrible play. Second you don't go rip your coach, but you should be ripping...
What do you guys think about Priest Holmes making a return?
I'm just wondering what people's thoughts are on this, I'm kind of suprised myself. Also, what about Larry Johnson holding out on the Chiefs? Think King Carl will pay the man?! Would like opinions on it!

Oakland (2-8) at San Diego (8-2)
After yet another remarkable effort to lead the San Diego Chargers into sole possession of first place in the AFC West, LaDainian Tomlinson will look to help extend his team's domination of the sinking Oakland Raiders when the teams meet Sunday. Tomlinson scored four touchdowns for the second consecutive week to reach 100 TDs faster than any player in NFL history on Sunday night, lifting the Chargers (8-2) over the Denver Broncos 35-27 and putting them alone atop the division. Tomlinson ran for 105 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries, and caught three passes for 74 yards and a score at Denver, where he hadn't rushed for 100 yards in six trips. Tomlinson, who helped the Chargers rally from a 24-7 deficit against the NFL's top-ranked defense, has 102 touchdowns in 89 games, four games fewer than the mark Jim Brown and Emmitt Smith shared previously for the fastest to 100 TDs. "Resilient bunch of guys," said Tomlinson, who leads the NFL with 22 touchdowns. "Our team, we're never out of it, and I think this is a very special team because no matter what happens, no matter how much we're down, we're never out of the football game." Philip Rivers went...
Denver (7-3) at Kansas City (6-4)
Longtime Kansas City Chiefs owner Lamar Hunt has always wanted his team to host a Thanksgiving game since the AFL-NFL merger. The NFL finally rewarded him with quite a matchup. The Chiefs will try to win their fifth straight home game and pull into a tie with the Denver Broncos Thursday night when the AFC West rivals meet. Kansas City hosted games on Thanksgiving three times during its first three seasons in the American Football League. Hunt's team never got a chance to host one since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970, and always wanted other cities to get the chance to host. With the league's television network broadcasting live games for the first time, it was a natural choice for Kansas City (6-4) to host the first Thursday night contest of the package. ADVERTISEMENT "I think it's important in a lot of ways," Chiefs coach Herm Edwards said. "I think it's important for Lamar Hunt that this game is here. That's a good gesture by the league letting us play in this game. "It's the first time, but I think probably the most important thing is it's the first NFL Network game that they're actually going to televise to a national audience. So, they're excited about...
This is exactly why I don't like to open my door to strangers! This is horrible!
HOUSTON—A man was killed and his family members beaten after three suspects barged into a north Houston home Saturday afternoon, police said.Investigators said one of the suspects pretended to be a census worker to gain entry into the house, located in the 400 block of Truman.Family members said the victim’s son opened the door for the suspects, believing they were with the census.Larry Johnson Jr., the nephew of the victim, said the suspects tied up and beat his cousin and aunt after barging into to the home.Johnson said his uncle, Reginald "Pete" Haynes, walked in on the crime and was ambushed."They tied him up and stabbed him and tried to submerge him in water," Johnson said.Haynes later died at the hospital.Family members said the men ransacked the house for two hours."They were looking for money and my aunt gave them everything that they had and it wasn’t enough for them," Johnson said.Neighbor Randell Harmon said he even watched the suspects leave after the crime and had no idea what had happened."I saw three gentlemen walk out and I didn’t think anything of it," Harmon said. "They didn’t look at me. They got in the truck and they...
Tip the pizza delivery boy
A college pizza delivery boy arrived at the house of Larry Johnson. He delivered the pizza to his trailer. After giving it to him, Larry asked: "What is the usual tip?""Well," replied the youth, "this is my first trip here, but the other guys say if I get a quarter out of you, I'll be doing great " "Is that so?" snorted Larry. "Well, just to show them how wrong they are, here's five dollars.""Thanks," replied the youth, "I'll put this in my school fund.""What are you studying in school?" asked Larry. The lad smiled and said: "Applied psychology."
Israel to kill in U.S., allied nations
Israel to kill in U.S., allied nations By Richard Sale UPI Intelligence Correspondent Published 1/15/2003 7:14 PMIsrael is embarking upon a more aggressive approach to the war on terror that will include staging targeted killings in the United States and other friendly countries, former Israeli intelligence officials told United Press International.Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has forbidden the practice until now, these sources said, speaking on condition of anonymity. The Israeli statements were confirmed by more than a half dozen former and currently serving U.S. foreign policy and intelligence officials in interviews with United Press International. But an official at the Israeli Embassy in Washington told UPI: "That is rubbish. It is completely untrue. Israel and the United States have such a close and co-operative intelligence relationship, especially in the field of counter-terrorism, that the assertion is ludicrous."With the appointment of Meir Dagan, the new director of Israel's Mossad secret intelligence service, Sharon is preparing "a huge budget" increase for the spy agency as part of "a tougher stance in fighting global jihad (or holy...
The undisputed MVP of the season so far
In case you don't follow football that much Tomlinson has just made the new record for TD's in a season with 29 and 3 games left! It's simply amazing, not just because it's a record, but the stats he's already accumulated this year! LT averages 5.0 yards per carry this year (highest in his career), and already has 1,427 total rushing yards on the year trailing Larry Johnson by only 5 yards... He's on pace to pass his own career high in rushing yards 1,683 in 2002. There's noway he's not an automatic MVP, well, unless Brees breaks some of those Marino records... Are you amazed by LT like I am?
