| | Does Kurt Warner belong to the HoF? | | A lot of experts are saying he does not belong to the HoF, simply because he started late in his career, and only producing at best 4 great football seasons(including this year). Personally I think he does not belong, mainly due to the reason above, but to be honest I WANT him to make it to Canton when his playing days are over. He is a classic example of an athlete(an individual for that matter), who was given a small chance and made the most out of it. Sadly I don't think there are "mercy" votes for the hall electors, so I don't hink he will get in...Unless he wins another SB. What do you all think? | |

| Someone You Admire Retires or Quits | | Kurt Warner is an NFL (American)football player for those who don't know. You don't need to know him to answer this discussion. Kurt Warner retired today, and he is one of a select group of athletes I admire. His rise to fame as a quarterback in the NFL is just unbelievable. But now on to the point of the discussion...He retired, and while I'm sad not to see him play anymore, it doesn't get me down or leave me feeling at a loss. How do you feel when someone you admire retires from their career, or quits what made you admire them and they go on to something else? When Oprah Winfrey announced she would be leaving her talk show very soon to devote her time elsewhere, I was amazed at how many people were devastated. I don't mean sad or unhappy, but tearfully devastated. I understand over the years she has come to mean a lot to them. And I'm not comparing Kurt Warner to Oprah Winfrey, I'm just giving my own personal example, and an example maybe more people can relate to. So when a singer, writer, athlete...you admire steps away from what brought you to like them in the first place, how do you feel? | |

| What Will You Be Doing On SuperBowl Sunday? | | Apparently, in the USA food consumption is the highest on SuperBowl Sunday; take out/delivery, SuperBowl parties, and I assume all Sports Bars will be filled. But what will you be doing this Sunday? And by the way, Pittsburgh Steelers or Arizona Cardinals? | |
| | Another heartbreaker! | | The Packers lost another heartbreaker yesterday! I was in shock for the rest of the day after seeing the the Cardinals beat the Packers! So call but so far! Aaron Rodgers and the offense started off slow but picked up steam as the game went on. The Packer defense stunk and they couldn't figure out Kurt Warner and the Cards offense! I admit Warner was fantastic but are defense could of played better! The Packers are a good team and I can them only being better next season! Go Packers! | |

| What do you think about Matt Leinart? | | I listen to alot of NFL Radio on Sirius, and they do a great job of explaining what is going on around the league. When ever they talk about the best offenses in the NFL, they also mention Arizona, and I agree with them 100%. But, the question that I have is with the best wide receiver trio in the league, a good running game, and a good offensive line then why doesn't Matt Leinart look better than he has. Leinart was one of the top QB's coming out of college, and is now in one of the best offenses. So do you think that Kurt Warner is that good, or is Matt Leinart that bad? | |
| | nfl playoff outlook! | | The final week of the NFL has finished and we have seen many matches that will be repeated this upcoming Saturday and Sunday. This is my breakdown and prediction for the first playoffs games. New York Jets at Cincinnati BengalsWe saw these two teams clash on Sunday Night Football and I must say the outcome was suprising. A 37-0 shutout victory by the Jets helping them clinch a playoff birth. However, I fear that next week will be much different for the Jets. The Bengals didn't have anything to play for and were bound to play a first round matchup since San Diego and Indy already had the first two spots earning them the bye week. I think next week the game is much more competetive which will earn the Bengals a trip to the next round with a 27-24 victory over the Jets.Baltimore at New EnglandIf you look at the statistics on paper, offensively the Patriots are a superior team. Lets face it they have Tom Brady and Randy Moss along with a running game that can finally compliment them a bit. Defensively, well the Ravens have the advantage. They have veteran guys unlike the Patriots who have at times struggled defensively against teams including this past week when they... | |

| NFL Predictions: The Return of The Raiders | | There is a changing of the guard in the NFL in 2009. Some of the perennial contenders will fall short and some of the also rans and patsies will start to find their way.The biggest change will be the San Francisco 49ers coached by Hall of Famer Mike Singletary. Singletary is being the same edge to coaching that he did as middle linebacker for the Super Bowl Champion 1985 Chicago Bears. We predict they will win the FNC west division at 12 and 4. Arizona will finish 9 and 7 and out of the playoffs. The venerable Kurt Warner will lead a heroic battle but they will fall short.
The NFC East will be a slugfest. The Giants, The Eagles, the Cowboys and Redskins will almost battle to a draw. Surprise guess who will win, the Redskins at 9 and 7 tied but mathematically ahead of the Giants. This could change if the Eagles have to turnto Michael Vick if McNabbs injury to his ribs does not heal properly. Michael Vick is a game changer who now has a chip on his shoulders. The Oakland Raiders will make a big change and make the playoffs this year. Jamarkus Russell is becoming a NFL quarterback and leader and they have always had the talent. It will be good to see the Silver and black... | |
