| | Another Year Another New Offensive Coordiantor and Receiver | | What the 49ers miss, besides Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, Steve Young, Merton Hanks, I could on, is stability. Since Norv Turner took off and went south to San Diego, the 49ers have had a revolving door at the Offensive Coordinator position. It's no wonder young QB Alex Smith never developed. Not to mention, his receive coor changed every year. This year they've added another new receiver, Brandon Jones.Last year it was Isaac Bruce and Bryant Johnson. Before that Antonio Bryant and others before that. How can a young team learn an offense and gel if there's constant change?This year the 49ers star anew on offense, let's hope they can build on this and return some stability to this once proud team who introduced the league to the West Coast Offense.We miss you Bill Walsh. | |
