Talk about NFL highlights and disasters. | | Brian Urlacher Unhappy With Contract Are You Kidding Me? | | Brian Urlacher is holding out from mini camp, because he's unhappy with his contract. With the price of gas, groceries and everything else neccessary to live it's hard to understand his position. He signed a contract and agreed to play for a certain amount of years for a certain amount of money. These players who hold out infuriate me.When most families can't take their children to a professional game or buy them jersey's of their favorite players, you have athletes holding refusing to play for a sum of money most of us will never see in our life time.Professional sports is getting ruined by greed like many things.
| | Here's 1 of my Fantasy Football Rosters | | I just completed the live draft for both of these in the past 2 days. I think I did pretty good. Both of the fantasy leagues include IDP(Individual Defensive Player) which I enjoy because it makes fantasy football more interesting and allows for different strategies.
Anyway what do you think of my roster?League 1:QB:Donovan McNabb, Phillip RiversRB:Reggie Bush, Brian Westbrook, Chester Taylor, LaMont JordanWR:T.J Houshmanzadah, Braylon Edwards, Mike Furrey, Bobby WadeTE:Jeremy Shockey, Desmond ClarkK:Jeff Wilkins, Jason HansonDEF:San Diego, MinnesotaIDP:Jermaine Phillips, Brian Urlacher, Brian Dawkins, Terrell Suggs, Kamerion Wimbley, Aaron Schobel, LaRon Landry
| | Bears can clinch division title in Week 12 | |
BRISTOL, Connecticut (Ticker) - The Chicago Bears can clinch their second straight division title on Sunday. Tom Brady and the New England Patriots know all about winning divisions. The interconference battle between the Bears (9-1) and Patriots (7-3) is the marquee matchup of Week 12 in the NFL.
The Sunday night meeting between the Indianapolis Colts (9-1) and Philadelphia Eagles (5-5) was supposed to be another intriguing interconference game featuring quarterbacks Peyton Manning and Donovan McNabb. But the contest lost much of its luster when McNabb suffered a season-ending knee injury last week. The Bears can become only the fourth team since the advent of the 16-game schedule in 1978 to clinch a division title by its 11th game. The other three are the 1985 Bears, the 1997 San Francisco 49ers and 2004 Eagles. Chicago can seal the NFC North crown with a win at New England, coupled with losses by the Minnesota Vikings (4-6) and Green Bay Packers (4-6). The Vikings host former coach Dennis Green and the Arizona Cardinals (2-8) on Sunday and the Packers visit the first-place Seattle Seahawks (6-4) on Monday night. But beating the Pats will be...

Buy Tickets Key defensive plays have helped the Chicago Bears thrive during a tough stretch of road games. It's the same formula the New England Patriots used to end their worst slump in four years. The NFC-leading Bears can clinch their second straight NFC North title when they face the Patriots on Sunday in a matchup of the league's top defenses. After back-to-back wins at the Meadowlands, Chicago (9-1) can secure a division crown with a win over New England (7-3) along with losses by Green Bay and Minnesota. If that happens, the Bears would become just the fourth team to clinch a division title after only 11 games since the NFL expanded to a 16-game schedule. One of the other teams to clinch this early was the 1985 Bears, who finished 15-1 and went on to defeat the Patriots 46-10 in Super Bowl 20. The Bears (9-1) picked off two passes en route to their second shutout of the season, 10-0 against the New York Jets last Sunday. In its previous game, Chicago also had two interceptions in a 38-20 win over the Giants. "We knew it would be a tough task," Bears coach Lovie Smith said. "We got two of...
